The Role
As an IT Sales Consultant at CityTalk, you’ll be responsible for developing new business opportunities and managing existing accounts within our IT and communications portfolio. You’ll work closely with our technical and marketing teams to deliver tailored solutions that meet each client’s specific needs.
Your role will include:

Identifying, prospecting, and converting new B2B opportunities in IT, telecoms, and cloud services.

Building and nurturing long-term relationships with clients to maximise retention and growth.

Understanding customer requirements and presenting suitable solutions from our product range — including managed IT services, cybersecurity, cloud infrastructure, and unified communications.

Managing the full sales cycle, from initial contact through to contract negotiation and handover.

Keeping accurate CRM records, forecasting sales performance, and achieving monthly and quarterly sales targets.

Staying up to date with emerging technologies and market trends to position CityTalk as a trusted, knowledgeable partner.
About You
We’re looking for someone confident, proactive, and technically aware, with a proven background in IT or technology solution sales. You’ll be motivated by success and comfortable managing your own pipeline to deliver consistent results.
Essential skills and experience:

Previous experience in B2B IT, telecoms, or cloud solution sales.

Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.

Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

Ability to understand and explain technical solutions clearly to non-technical audiences.

Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail.

Full UK driving licence.
Desirable skills:

Experience selling managed IT, cybersecurity, or cloud infrastructure services.

Knowledge of VoIP systems, connectivity, or energy brokerage.

Existing client base or network within the SME or corporate sectors.
